Reporting To: Department Manager / Store Manager
Job Purpose
To ensure shelves are fully stocked, neatly arranged, and visually appealing at all times, while assisting customers and maintaining a clean, safe shopping environment.
Key Responsibilities

Unpack and merchandise stock according to store standards

Refill shelves and ensure products are correctly displayed
-
Rotate stock using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles
-
Check expiry dates and remove damaged or expired products
-
Ensure correct pricing and product labelling
-
Maintain cleanliness and order in assigned aisles
-
Assist customers with product location and general enquiries
-
Report low stock levels to supervisors
-
Support stock takes and inventory control processes
-
Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Minimum Requirements
-
Grade 10 or Grade 12
-
Basic numeracy and literacy skills
-
Ability to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays

Physically fit and able to lift and move stock
