Programme Overview

This internship programme forms part of Crime Intelligence operations within SAPS. Interns will assist with analysing crime-related information and preparing intelligence reports that support crime prevention and stability efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Support crime intelligence analysis activities

• Prepare and compile intelligence reports

• Conduct threat and risk assessments

• Develop early warning intelligence reports

• Assist with reactive intelligence analysis when incidents occur

Requirements

• Three-year National Diploma or Degree (NQF Level 6 or higher) in:

  • Sociology

  • Criminology

  • Political Science

• Must be a South African citizen aged between 18 and 35

• Must have no criminal record

• Must be unemployed
