Minimum Qualification

  • NQF Level 4 (National Senior Certificate / Grade 12 or equivalent)


Additional Requirements

  • Medically fit to work in a mining environment

  • Clear security screening record

  • Valid driver’s licence (where applicable)

  • Previous experience in mining or a related field will be advantageous


Key Responsibilities

Programme Objectives

  • Understand and follow the objectives and requirements of the learnership programme

  • Complete all training modules within the required timeframe

  • Report any programme-related concerns when necessary

  • Follow company policies and procedures

Safety, Health and Environment (SHE)

  • Comply with all legal and safety regulations

  • Follow required operational standards and training guidelines

  • Attend SHE meetings when required

  • Wear and correctly use the required safety equipment

  • Identify workplace hazards and participate in risk assessments

Reporting and Development

  • Prepare progress reports related to training and development

  • Report challenges, inconsistencies, and suggestions for improvement

  • Communicate recommendations effectively with supervisors


Selection Process

  • Pre-screening and psychometric assessments may be part of the selection process

  • Shortlisted candidates will attend a panel interview

  • Applicants who do not receive feedback within 14 days after the closing date should consider their application unsuccessful.
