Job Overview:
South African Breweries (SAB) is looking for a Packaging Operator to join its high-performing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation and upkeep of packaging equipment and processes to ensure optimal production efficiency, quality, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate packaging equipment and oversee related processes to meet performance targets.

Interpret and execute the shift production plan.

Run both manual and automated machinery according to operational standards.

Maintain product quality, productivity, hygiene, and food safety standards.

Complete administrative tasks, including monitoring process performance and initiating corrective actions when necessary.

Manage PIMS and POMS systems and address negative performance trends.

Utilize OFRs in line with defined triggers.
-
Contribute to AB reports as required.

Promote and maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 qualification.
-
N3 certification.
-
At least 9 months of on-the-job training and completion of SKAP within 12 months.

Previous experience in an FMCG packaging environment.
